I am baby sitting today... I don't often babysit other peoples kids.... It's not that I don't offer, but I think many other parents think I have my hands full enough already with my own three. Today have have two extra. Two beautiful little kids... 3 & 2 years old. So I have 5 kids under three for the day.
I had my WW buddy, Janita pop out for morning tea with her three kids also... so 8 kids running around. I know that some parents would break into a cold sweat with the thought it... but it truly doesn't seem to worry me. I have three asleep at present and just to two older girls watching "Barbie' on DVD - having a little bit of quite time. I love watching Em (3 yo) playing now. It just seems like yesterday we brought home this 6 pound little bub that wore 00000 clothes.. arhhhh.
I am also totally on top of my housework.... I am fairly organised person... but I am never totally up to date. All of the ironing is done... toy room is clean... cupboards are all reasonable. So feel totally in control. (Until tomorrow that is...)
Waiting for a truck to arrive with 81 pregnant ewes (sheep for those city folk) - kids will be excited. A bargin buy as the farmer has sold his farm.
My challenge this week is on track. I really want to get to my 57,000 steps for the week. I lost a day somewhere there and had to do a huge walk on Monday night to get my steps up a little. After failing last week.. I really don't want to do that again... So it will happen.
Weigh in tomorrow night and I really want to stay for the meeting. I haven't been able to stay for one reason or another for the past two weeks... so feel like I need to. Janita (WW buddy) will hopefully become an 80's chick this week. I have made her a cd of 80's music to give her (with it own personalised cover) when she finally cracks it. I have had it in my WW bag for the past 5 weeks or so.... she has been so close for so long.
We are heading away this weekend to Paringa so will have some hills to walk... yeah...
Anyway... time for a coffee and I will update with weigh in results for you all tomorrow...
TFTD:you never fail until you stop trying....
TIAGF: Active kids that will sleep well tonight!!

YAY, first to comment. That won't happen again, i'm back to work tomorrow. How sweet are you making an 80's CD for your WW buddy. That is SUCH a lovely idea. Well done.
I can't cope very well with one 'under 2' child, I can't imagine the nightmare of having 8 kids running around the house. I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, I love my son to pieces but I don't cope with full time mum very well. Maybe it's my age. We've had a good time though.
Wow 81 sheep, my son would love that. He has just learnt the 'baa' noise for sheep and 'moo' for cows. I might have to take him to a petting zoo so he can see some animals for real.
Enjoy your coffee! Good luck for weigh in.

The other day at my dads place there were 8 boys between 3 and 9 and a 2 year old ~ a very noisy time:)
How lovely are you for making that 80s CD!!!!! That is a fantastic idea! Sounds like you've got a great weekend ahead of you, so I'm sure you will get those 57000 steps! BTW, telling us city chicks what a ewe was made me laugh ;)
8 kids, wow! Braver woman than I. I love the idea of the 80's CD, that's cute. I love 80's music too. Enjoy your weekend away.
