Proud parents....

My Emilie Kate had her first day of school today!!! Proud isn't a strong enough word to describe how I felt this morning... I was totally in awe of Emilie and how she handled herself.. In the car on the way to school I asked how she felt and she told me that she was very excited.. not nervous at all!

The sling??? On Monday Emilie was riding the motorbike and she went through the channel, when she got to the other side she fell off. Wasn't going fast, but it must have been funny angle. Anyway, picked her up, put her back on the bike (she was crying) and she rode the bike back home. She put herself to bed and I put some ice on her elbow. Two hours later, she was still in a fair bit of pain so took her to hospital. It turns out that she fractured a little bone her elbow and she can't bend her elbow.
