Had a wonderful weekend - Robe is a beautiful little coastal town and if you are ever in the area it would be a crime not to call by and check it out. One thing that it made me realise is how flat it is where we live.... Hugh woke very early on Sunday and instead of waking the girls, I took him for a huge walk - but it almost killed me!!! Bloody hills and cliffs are quite challenging if you aren't used to them - I came home very sweaty (I love it really!!) Kids loved the beach. We have been to the beach several time prior (mostly 4 x 4 trips) but it has always been too cold to let the kids get wet. Emilie loved it the most - she just loves water! Laura is a little more scared, but I am sure it's just her age and little Hugh was a little cold and shivering!! (The extra kid building sand castles is Sophie... a friends daughter... very cute little girl!!)
I ate sooooo much and loved it. Had a delish Bombay curry for lunch - miss them, You know the ones, FULL of coconut cream... yumm! I think that is the best thing about WW - you just pull up the socks following a big few days and make up for it! I haven't missed a day for walking and I have been busy around home also.. Today I cleaned up the kids toy room. It took over 2 hours - but I was in a sweat once I had finished....if I gain this week, I gain! I will just keep on going!
They call the area that we live 'Sheep Hills" - but there are not hills.. not one!
To show you what I mean I have a photo of where I walk...
And if i think I need to shake it up a little - I go out the gate and head this way....
You know now why I need a MP3 player to keep me walking!! It isn't just around us where it is flat - the whole Wimmera is just paddock after paddock! Flat, straight road after straight, flat road... I guess that is home and why I love it so much here! But speaking of MP3 players..... what is everyone liisterning to? I need up update the music in mine - getting a bit sick of what is there and not sure what to put on it?? Any suggestions??
Have a great week!!

Hi Kirsty!
Thank you so much for stopping by my new blog - you're right, its so exciting getting comments! I can't believe how much the hit counter has jumped today!
A huge congrats on reaching your goal - you are looking fabulous! And well done maintaining!
Will definitely stop by frequently and leave my two cents worth!
Cheers,
Aileen :)
What a view!!! I think you have a wonderful place to walk - very unique - but definitely can understand the need to have an MP3 player and the need to update the music every now and again. I can't help with that as I don't own one (yet!!) but there is so much good music about.
Your kids are gorgeous. I love going to the beach now and just playing as if I was a kid and not worrying whether anyone is watching me. It's so much fun.
Hope you have a great day Kirsty :D
My ipod currently has a huge mixture of crap music, i need to download some more! though i'm currently enjoying the black eyed peas & sugar babes.
Sounds like you had a great time away :)
I love the views from your gate even though there isn’t much variety. Madonna's newie is pretty up tempo, Gwen Stefani's from last year, Black Eyed Peas and u really can’t go past Ministry of Sounds Annual. They'll get u kicking up the dust.
I love the beach photos. We recently spent a week up at Surfers and Josh had a ball rolling around in the waves. I'll be sorry to see summer go.
Well done on the loss. When walking, I listen to anything with good paced beats. I've got the new Madonna and Paul Mac albums on my mp3 atm :-)
Gosh, I almost live in the same environment! Cept I do have afew hills.
Im also on a farm, just outside of Bendigo. The isolation gets abit much sometimes but you are doing terrifically well!
Thank you for your kind words on my blog. It's nice to hear that your words actually do touch someone.
:-)
