that is what my Doctor told me yesterday....
That I am a total picture of health... blood sugar perfect, kidney and liver function perfect, hormones levels perfect, blood sugar perfect, iron levels perfect and my cholesterol was 3.1!!! Also.. I just need to watch my lumpy neck to see if they grow... Dr said that they don't seem like 'bad' lumps, but just need to watch them! I was very excited!!!
My Doctor then went on to ask about what sort of foods I ate and my exercise... "very good Kirsty.."
Even my blood is telling me that I am healthy!!!
So.. the weekend was VERY busy... I took photos all day Saturday for the hockey grand finals (both Warrack men & women won btw) and my in-laws where here on Saturday night. Went out for tea both Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday was spent trying to get some washing done, but it was wet (I am not complaining in the least). Yesterday, i left home at 8.20am and got home at 5.20pm! Busy day in town.
But...
With the modules that I am doing with Fitnation, has me so inspired, pumped or as Hayley (private) says I.AM.IN.THE.ZONE!!
Sometimes, when your head is in the right space, it just seems easier. I was a little stressed about my little lumps and once I knew that it was all ok.. head jumped back into five gear and the viewfinder became clearer again!
So... I have started the 12 week challenge. Took my measurements and photos last night and set some goals.
My goals are to have improved fitness levels (measurable)
Tighter and firmer body and lose the extra 2kg that I have been carrying over winter (another 1 or 2 would also be nice:)
How will I do this??
- I will NOT eat after 7.30pm at night.(that is my danger time.. tired and tend to eat while not hungry)
- Drink 1.5 litres of water a day
- Make healthy food choices
- Weight bearing exercise twice a week
- Cardio 3 times a week
I have made these rules not negotiable! I can bend them, I can't twist them to make them work for me.. they are my rules.. really.. rules for my life!
I know I will have some reader tut tut me for starting a challenge (because they don't believe in them etc...) but I know that my body could be firmer and tighter.. and I am going to do it!
Started 17th September and ends on the 10th December - I will measure each month and weight each week. Took photos at the start and will again take them at the end.
At the end of each post, i will (for my own use) journal the previous day (s) activities, food, choices etc..
Day one.. (84 days...)
Food - Spot on.. even ate my fruit for the day
Water - Yep
Activity - Gym (both weights and Cardio) 1 hour kids sport in the afternoon
Choices - I choose to have chicken and sweetcorn soup for lunch... delicious and wholesome!

Kirsty, well done on the great medical report. You should be very proud of yourself. Good luck with your fitness challenge, I admire your energy and dedication.
Hope the rain continues for you.
You are SUCH an inspiration, thank you!! I will get on my treadmill tomorrow, I will, I will!!
Ya for a clean bill of health, and I believe your "rules" are totally doeable.... good for you. Maybe I shall follow them too, sure wouldn't hurt me.
Great to hear about the clean bill of health. As much as we all love to wear nice clothes and sometimes focus on the superficial goals (well I do anyway), having good health and fitness is what it is all about.
You must be so proud of all your hard work!
