It is so overcast and grey outside... praying the rain does follow. I haven't said much, but the season for farmers will again soon turn pear shape if we don't get some rain soon! Looks promising today, but we have had so many days like this and the rain just doesn't fall!!!
I had a day of tests yesterday.. I had to fast overnight till 9.30 for blood test (iron, thyroid levels, HDL, LDL, Blood sugar, Kidney function, ,liver function) THEN i only had 30 minutes to eat before another 6 hour fast for an ultra sound in the afternoon. (Abdomen, pelvic and neck)
All that because I have lumps in my lymph glands in my neck!! My mothers family has a history of polycyclic disease, so I think my Dr was being very through. (my grandfather had a kidney transplant in the early 80's due to polycyclic disease)
But.. i felt REAL hunger yesterday!!! I have never skipped breakfast.. just don't function well without it! Or maybe it was the coffee that I was missing! I have swapped to drinking the new Necafe NUVO coffee, which is half caf.. taste the same as the other coffee we drink, but I really missed it yesterday! Once I had the blood tests, i went to our little cafe and had poached eggs on toast and before gym I ate a hand full of nuts. That was 10.30... I hunger pains really kicked in at about 4pm.. ultrasound was booked in for 4.30, but didn't get out till 5.30pm!! I was starving. Picked up the kids from a friends and grabbed a sandwich from her kitchen to stop me from pulling into the roadhouse for 3 fried dim sins (and yes.. i was so hungry I would so have eaten roadhouse food.. i was THAT hungry)
I am a real five meals a day person (two of those meals are snacks...) I have started the day today with baked beans on cape seed toast to get back into my routine again..and already a couple of glasses of water!
I went to the gym yesterday, explained my injury (I got a piece of glass wedged into my heel while cleaning on Sunday... see cleaning IS bad for your health) and my PT changed my program a little for me so I could work out! Still a little sore, but on the mend!
House is ready for in-laws visit!!! i even de-webed the outside of the house! Toady will be washing and then I have another assessment to type up for fitnation.
We have a combined Apex dinner tomorrow night and little Laura is having a sleep over at her friends Sophie's house, so my mother is coming down to babysit the other two for us!
Have a great day!

I'll be interested to hear what the tests say about the lumps in your neck as I have the same thing as the moment, but they think that they are just swollen lymph glands. I had a blood test and have to go back for the results sometime soon.
I hope it is nothing bad.
Take care
Kristy
Here's hoping that all the test results show up nothing. I have everything crossed for you. :o)
hope you get good results back from the tests. Have a great wknd!
Sure all will be fine.. Remember a while back I had a lumpy neck also?? Mine were put down to a scalp infection. Keep us updated.
